The Social Tech Hub of UCLL has officially opened!
With the realization of the Social Tech Hub, a first of its kind is introduced in Flanders: a single location where wellbeing and technology come together under one roof.
The project is designed as a simple, modular volume and forms a contemporary addition to the existing UCLL campus in Hasselt. Its clear and flexible architectural concept supports adaptability and future use, while seamlessly integrating into the educational environment of the campus.
The building houses a variety of spaces for experts and students, offering room to experiment, collaborate, and develop innovative solutions for the wellbeing sector. These environments encourage hands-on research and cross-disciplinary exchange, fostering innovation that responds to real societal needs.
At its core, the Social Tech Hub is driven by a clear ambition: innovation for everyone. By connecting technology, knowledge, and social engagement, the building acts as a catalyst for inclusive and sustainable innovation in care and wellbeing.
