We have successfully completed the masterplan for Pauwengraaf Street in Maasmechelen, following a year-long collaborative effort that included test runs and engagement with residents and retailers. Through this process, we established nine design principles aimed at revitalizing this 500-meter-long shopping street. The transformation will convert the current fully paved car thoroughfare into a vibrant bicycle-focused street, incorporating green spaces, water features, terraces, and seating areas. The participation process was expertly designed by Uhasselt, while Geotec will be responsible for bringing the design to life during execution.
